So here I am at our final pre-deployment brief and then off to Heathrow for the flight(s) out. Thank again to the Team and their negotiation and persuasion skills to get Flightlink and BA to donate our seats to Sydney. Reflecting on the purpose of our trip, I have no problems with the cramped seats, restless sleep (of sorts), stiff neck, crying baby (only occasionally) and stiff neck, but nonetheless it is a long old journey, leaving Thursday night and arriving Sydney on Saturday morning. And we arrive late so miss our connection to Adelaide, so I contact our in-country support to re-book, which she does in literally 2 minutes (brilliant, thank you), and are back on course.
