holibobs 4: coppers are really packin’ out here…

I try both Moneygram and Western Union who both promise to ‘make your money available right away’.  Anyway for different reasons they both suck – they don’t tell you about the restrictions in country, like; ‘you can only have $300 USD’ or ‘I don’t have any cash right now, come back later’, or better still, ‘you can’t send money to yourself’.  Anyway long-short, I get cash and for the record  its Moneygram 0 – 1 Western Union.  On the plus side whilst I am waiting until 0900 for the self-service machine to be active (???), I sign up for a covid jab.  All very painless, great stuff.

So despite my cash issues, it is safe to say that in this case the clouds had silver linings (or I found the crock (pot) of gold at the end of the rainbow).

I am used to the police around these parts carrying guns, tazers, pepper spray, night-sticks etc.  But on the way out of the pharmacy I see a couple on rest break (presumably) casually leaning against their Harley Davidson’s. Really? But I guess this is ‘merica.
