holibobs 5: worse than covid

On the plus side I got jab #1.  On the minus I had a reaction for 48 hours.  Not just a bit sweaty and sore arm, but full-on fever and hallucinations.  I mean I am not an amateur at this, plenty of (non-alcoholic) fluids and regular paracetamol but I had it hard.  On day 3 I awoke to find myself sweating into the plastic mattress protector – they must be so glad they invested 3 bucks in one of them!  In some ways I guess that’s the point of a vaccination and I was expecting a reaction, but wow that hit me hard.

So to make up for lost time and give myself a shot in the arm, I found a burger joint for lunch.  The food was, well average, but the view was great (you should be focussed on the seeing the ocean, other brands of beer are available).
