You’re welcome

So Day 1 was a bit of a nightmare, to be honest. It was great, really great to see old friends again, and I was greeted with genuine warmth – so thrilling. And to meet some people in person for the first time was good too. But of course my bubble was burst. My good friend Agnes, in very African English phrases told me; “You’re welcome”, “You have been lost” and “We have been longing for you”,  but the bullet was burst when I said I was only staying 5 weeks this trip.  And of course, if that was not enough, she followed up with “You are big!”.

Thanks Agnes, I love you too.
