nice try, but no cigar…

Off and on for a few weeks now, mainly driven by availability of supplies, and mozzies in the afternoon I have been making a platform swing for the respite care centre, Maison de Benediction.  Finally finished it today and have got some fixings in place to erect it.  Looks good, huh?  Until I realised the intent is for the physio to sit on it with the child too… so it might look good, but on first use it became little more than a floor cushion, so was immediately taken out of action pending adjustments.
