one time only

So many of you have been so generous already, without request, without a hint, so thank you very much. But now is the time I am going to ask directly for your support and involvement in a fundraising initiative for the hospital.  And I promise only once (this trip, anyway).  Please help the community I have the privilege to serve.

I have been nominated for 5K May. I had not heard of it before, but it was a ‘trend’ when initiated for the first-time last year.  It’s quite simple: run 5K, donate £5 and then nominate a further 5 friends to take on the challenge.  But, things are different for me, so I am going to do 5K May differently. 

5K May: the big push.

I will be pushing myself 5K in a wheelchair and sponsoring myself £55, so it is a 5:5:5…  Please do something similar; your very own version of the 5:5:5.  Please remember the folk out here have no power, clean water, sanitation, or healthcare system as you would recognise it: government spending on healthcare is less than $10 per person-per year.  So every penny you can help me raise for the hospital will make a huge impact.
